This year’s fundraiser proceeds will support Miss Kirsten Titiana Shalane Brister who lost both of her parents and maternal grandmother in 2016. Kirsten is the daughter of the late Raymond Brister and Bianca Brister of Kokomo, Mississippi. In 2016, Titiana lost her mother and brother (Travies (age 3)) in a head-on collision that occurred while traveling home from a visit with her father who was hospitalized. Kirsten’s father, Raymond was diagnosed with sarcoidosis and on life support; and passed away 5 months after his wife and son’s death. Kirsten’s maternal grandmother passed away December 30, 2016, from cancer. Therefore, Kirsten is the sole survivor of her immediate family.
